Begin the Sanding Process
Getting your floor prepared for refinishing begins with sanding off the old finish. We do this with our state-of-the-art dustless sanding system from Bona. Our process makes for a better finished project and leaves you with a healthier environment after the project.
Staining and Sealing
Once all sanding has been completed, it’s time to add some color to your floor. We use DuraSeal® Quick Coat Penetrating Finishes. Quick Coat is a semi-transparent stain which is formulated to seal, color and provide exceptional durability when used on bare wood and masonry surfaces.
Putting Your Room Back Together
We recommend you wait 24 hours after the last coat of finish has been applied before moving your furnishings back into place. Keep large area rugs off of the floor during the initial 30 days. A breathable, perforated rubber pad should be used as well.
